Picasso museum: it is in Carrer de Montcada, an unusually straight medieval road; the museum is located in three medieval buildings and in another two buildings.
It holds more than 3600 works, divided into sections of drawings and paintings, incisions and ceramics; the collection is in chronological order and is concentrated, even though very extensive, on the first years of the artist. The permanent collection is one the first floor, whereas the first floor holds the temporary exhibitions.
Visitors are lead through the formative years of the artist, evoked by drawings of when he was nine and on as far as the paintings made in Malaga and La Coruna between 1893 and 1895.
